Day 1 : Marrakech To Atlas Mountains to Ouarzazate to Dades Valley
Our 3-day tour from Marrakech to desert. After breakfast, our driver guide will pick you up from the communities along the way. The first stop along the journey is the famed town of Ait Ben Haddou. Ait Ben Haddou is a Berber fortified Kasbah where numerous great films have been made, including Lawrence Darabie (1962), Bandits (1981), Gladiator (2000), Alexandre (2004), and Kingdom of Heaven (2005), to name a few. Before moving on to the Hollywood of Africa to visit the Ouarzazate studio and the Taourirte Kasbah, you will visit the lovely Dades Valley, where you will have a short view of Kasbahs before arriving at our hotel.
Day 2: Dades Valley to Todra gorge to Sahara desert of Merzouga
On the second day of your 3 days tour from Marrakech To Desert , After breakfast we will leave the Dades Valley and head towards the Sahara Desert. On the way we’ll pass through beautiful gorges and see Morocco largest valley full of palm trees. Around midday we will stop at a local restaurant for a traditional lunch.
As we travel via the palm-filled landscape we will reach Merzouga Sahara Desert. In Merzouga we’ll stay for one night in camp. it will be in a comfortable luxury camp on the edge of the dunes, giving us a stunning view. The camp is surrounded by soft sand dunes so you can walk barefoot and explore the area at your own pace. Make sure to rest well because the next day will be packed with adventure!
Day 3: Merzouga > Rissani > Nekoub > Draa valley > Anti Atlas Mountains > Marrakech:
on the last day of your 3 days desert tour from marrakech to desert, We’ll start the day early to watch the sunrise, and take photos then we will eat breakfast. After that we will start our trek to Bomalne Dades. Along the route, we’ll visit Rissani (the date capital), Alnif hamlet, Tazarine, Nekoub’s Kasbahs, and the breathtaking Draa Valley.
Next, we’ll travel to Ouarzazate to see Kasbah Taourirte and a film studio. We’ll also visit the famed Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, where films such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and Kingdom of Heaven were shot. Finally, we’ll traverse the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass and return to Marrakech, where our 3-day adventure will come to a conclusion.
