Itinerary of 3 days desert tour from fes
Day 1 : Fez - Ifrane - Azrou - Erfoud - Desert
On the first day of your 3 days desert tour from Fes to Merzouga, We will go to the desert today after a tasty Moroccan breakfast. It will take us about 7 hours to get to Merzouga after we check out. The journey will be interesting, though because the scenery will be changing all the time. Ifrane which has beautiful parks, lakes, cabins, and even a ski resort that gets a lot of snow in the winter, is known as the Moroccan Switzerland because of its European style landscaping and weather. We will stop there.
We can keep going towards Azrou and enjoy the beautiful Atlas cedars and the friendly wild monkeys that live in the area. After lunch, we’ll go through the pass and valley of the Ziz River on our way. As we get closer to Er-Rashidia, the scenery will slowly change into a desert. Merzouga is where we will spend the night.
Day 2 : 4x4 excursion in the Moroccan Sahara desert
On the 2nd day of your 3-day Morocco tour from Fes to Merzouga, after breakfast you will start your tour by 4×4 driver for an enjoyable desert adventure. we will take you on a tour of the dunes and meet the Nomads and drink tea with them and learn about how they live in the desert. After that, we’ll go to Khamilia to see some interesting music by Gnaoua singers. After that, you’ll get to Merzouga, a small town at the base of some beautiful white sand dunes.
We will ride horses to the desert camp in the afternoon and enjoy the sunset. There are nice pillows for beds at the campsite, as well as separate bathrooms and showers. We will have a tasty Moroccan dinner, dance to the beat of the drums around the campfire, and listen to traditional Berber songs at night. Additionally, we will have the chance to enjoy the beautiful starry sky. The camp is where we will spend the night.
Day 3 : Merzouga - Rissani - Erfoud to Ziz Valley - Cedar Forest - Ifrane to Fes
On the last day of your 3-day Desert Tour from Fes to Merzouga, after breakfast we leave the desert to fes via Rissani an old trade town with a busy market. Then we stop at Erfoud to see a fossil workshop and learn about the unique fossils that are found in the area. We will go down the Ziz River to get a great view of the valley, befor to arrive at Fes, having passed through the cedar forest of azro and Ifrane. we will dropped off you at either the airport or your hotel at the end of the trip.
